Since its establishment in 2007, SFFFL has blossomed into a dynamic community featuring numerous teams that proudly champion LGBTQIA+ inclusivity in sports.

Celebrating Our Journey

2007:

A New Dawn

The South Florida Flag Football League was founded, starting with just 3 teams and a vision to create an inclusive community for LGBTQIA+ athletes.

2010: Inaugural Tournament Appearance

SFFFL made its official debut at the Gay Bowl, heralding the start of national-level competitive play for our teams.

2017:
Expansion of Divisions

The league took a significant step forward and expanded its horizons with the introduction of a Women's+ Division.

2019: 
501(C)(3) Designation

The league is proud to have earned 501(c)(3)status, enabling it to bolster its community outreach initiatives and broaden its service efforts.
